The Auburndale / Fairdale / Iroquois Park area is located in the Southern part of Louisville.  Once being promoted as "Louisville's Yellowstone", Iroquois Park was built on a large knob covered with old growth forest and it's most prominent feature is the scenic views from the hill top.  It also features an amphitheater, basketball courts, a disc golf course and a riding stable.  Many productions happen at the amphitheater during the summer.
